Designed for reliable support in skewed joist applications, the SUL ZMAX Joist Hanger features a skewed left (SUL) configuration to accommodate joists angled between 40° and 50°. Its acute side includes obround nail holes, allowing nails to be installed easily parallel to the joist for secure fastening. Constructed from ZMAX galvanized steel for maximum corrosion resistance, this hanger cannot be modified but provides a strong, durable connection. The acute flange can be turned inward for end-of-wall installation (available for solid sawn sizes only, SURC or SULC). The seat width measures 1-9/16 inches, ensuring a snug and reliable fit for 2x6 joists.
